Role Summary

We’re hiring a Junior IT/Cybersecurity Engineer to support end-user IT, networks, and first-line security operations. You’ll help maintain secure endpoints, assist with incident triage, and contribute to vulnerability and patch management across a fast-moving environment.

Provide L1/L2 IT support for Windows workstations, basic Linux, and O365 accounts.

Assist with network basics (switches/routers, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPN), user provisioning, and access controls.

Monitor security tools (AV/EDR, email security, MDM, SIEM dashboards) and escalate alerts.

Support vulnerability scanning, patch scheduling, and remediation tracking.

Help document SOPs, asset inventories, and configuration baselines.

Participate in incident response triage: evidence capture, ticketing, and follow-ups.

Enforce IT policies (passwords, MFA, data handling) and support awareness campaigns.

Qualifications

UAE National (UAEN) with a Family Book/UAE Passport.

Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Cybersecurity or related field.

0–2 years experience (internship or entry-level) in IT support or security operations.

Familiarity with:

OS/Endpoint: Windows 10/11, basic Linux; EDR/AV; MDM/Intune.

Identity/Access: Azure AD/M365, MFA, least-privilege concepts.

Networking: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VPN, firewalls (fundamentals).

Security Ops: SIEM basics, incident handling lifecycle, patching/vuln mgmt.

Certifications a plus: CompTIA Security+ / Network+, CCNA, Microsoft AZ-900/SC-900, ITIL.

Proactive, service-oriented communicator (English essential; Arabic is a plus).
